140 secondary school students went on an interesting China journey at Blangah Rise Primary School. The classrooms were turned into exhibition halls. Each hall was dedicated to a province of China and decorated with posters and souvenirs. At every hall there were teachers from China to introduce to students the culture of that particular province. Instead of just a casual tour, the organizer engaged our SMS system to SMS questions in Chinese to the students. They were asked to submit their answers via SMS which were automatically marked by the system. That was the first of such an event and it was covered by Channel 8 News, Channel U News and Lian He Zao Bao.

With the help of our innovative SMS solution, students from ACS Primary School enjoyed a whole new treasure hunt experience at the Botanic Garden. Participants were divided into teams of 4 or 5 and the SMS system automatically assigned them to their first station by sending them the clue via SMS. When the team arrived at their assigned station, they confirmed by SMSing the station code to the system. Upon confirmation, the system would automatically SMS questions for that station to the students. The students observed the surroundings to find the answers and submitted their answers via SMS. The system automatically marked the answers and sent them the clue for their next station. At the end, the system automatically generated the ranking based on their scores and the top teams were awarded.
