It used to be a nightmare everyday for Mr Seah,
Production Manager of Best Catering to manage the
checking in and checking out of a few hundred food
containers. Until the barcode reader system was
deployed. The system can generate barcodes and print
out on water-proof stickers, which are then pasted
to the containers. Now Mr Seah just need to get
someone to use a barcode reader to scan each container.
What is so great about the system? Well, fast and
efficient. What used to take 3 hours to complete
now only requires less than one hour. "It helps
us to easily keep track of the containers and prevent
wastage," said Mr Seah.
